Peggy, Although you stated that Adelbert Perrier was baptized in Quebec, I have checked the records of St Jean Baptiste Church in Troy for a notation. Nothing was found. If the family attended a protestant church in the Troy area when he was born in 1872, there could be some type of record there but, as Bill McGrath noted, civil registration of births did not start until several years later.
