    3. Pam, there's a picture and story about the death of a Harry E. Powers, former Troy policeman, who was killed in action in 1944. Story says he was the son of John and Anne Powers, and husband of Pauline, nee Deverly. The picture shows him in his Army uniform, not a police uniform. If he's 'yours', the article is in the Troy Record, Dec. 28, 1944, or I can email it to you off-List. I'm looking for Harry Powers who would have been a police officer around 1938; trying to find a photo of him in his uniform (like an official photo). Thanks for any help (I have checked with the historical society and they do not have anything like that). ..· ´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ ..·´ Pam Trudeau -:¦:- -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´* -------------------------------

    3. I've been looking for information about my grandfather, John C. Christensen, who was a long time police officer in Troy (Lansingburgh station, I believe). If he is mentioned in this book I will try to purchase a copy, perhaps from Amazon. Thanks. 3. Did not find him in any of the photos. If you have a specific year, I can check for his name. There are many group photos of policemen in this book with no individual names. Many are arranged by Precinct Number. I should think that the Troy Library or the RCHS would have a copy of this book. It was published only 11 years ago.
