Can someone tell me what and where "Eastmore" was? I came across this in an obituary from the 1950's; the person is listed as having lived at "Eastmore, West Sand Lake Rd." I know the person lived in the Wynantskill area, but am not familiar with "Eastmore." Thanks! Donna
The closest I can come is an article in the Troy Times, 8 April 1929, page 8 which mentions the Eastmore tract on West Sand Lake Turnpike. The page has the building and realty section, deeds etc. This is on the FultonHistory site and shows up in the snippet of text, but I cannot locate it on the newspaper page itself. I tried searching for Eastmore and tract etc. on the page, but cannot find it. Here is a link to the page: http://fultonhistory.com/Newspaper%2018/Troy%20NY%20Times/Troy%20NY%20Times%201929/Troy%20NY%20Times%201929%20-%200117.pdf Maybe if you look through the whole page, word for word...
