    3. Chris - I do enjoy reading the interesting things you dig up! Apparently poetry publishing was not confined to Troy newspapers. True, though Oxford University Press Anthology of Modern American Poetry editor Cary Nelson had written me, “The newspaper practice was usually to reprint poems from anywhere without attribution, but Troy suggests more editorial involvement in a local/regional poetry scene.” I’ll have to check out that article in the library.
