Thursday July 17 ,2008Troy Record Article 100years ago Friday July 17 , 1908 “Investigators find that murder victim Hazel Drew received her last paycheck of $4.50 from Professor E.R Cary on July 4th.Based on information from her aunt ,Minnie Taylor,investigators believe she had spent most of it by the time she reached Sand Lake on July 7th.She had one nickel on her person when her body was found. Mrs A.
