They both are found in the 1910 & 1920 Fed census.I know she was alive in 1935 as she appears in the obit notice for my grandmother Delia Ryan McNally of Albany NY at that time.  A Catherine is listed as the widow of Thomas in the above directories so I have been looking into Thomas F. Powell's family  With the assistanceof the  archivist at Immaculate Heart of Mary, I have been able to obtain church information on this Powell family in question and I have been able to locate a Thomas Powell with wife Catherine but have been unable to obtain her maiden name to confirm it as Ryan- the archivist cannot locate a marriage records for them nor a funeral Thoma' family are the Patrick & Julia Powell family- Thomas one of five siblings: Peter, Michael, Joseph, [ O Henry] Eugene & Mary - he as checked into  records at St. Brigid's , St Patrick's. I do have the Feb 25, 1908 Obit for Thomas Powell  which lists his survivors as wife & son Harry, which I have assumed was the same as Henry Leo Powell residing with Catherine however I admit this assumption might be incorrect. Please forgive the length of this information- but any assistance in verifying or ruling out Catherine Powell as my great aunt would be very appreciated. One last question please- does anyone know how to obtain information from the Albany County Roman Catholic diocese- trying to find information on a wedding at St. Mary's Church - Catholic in Albany in 1893- church as limited information- need birthdate of the bride.-church does not have this information. Best regards Dar McNally Lansing
