Joseph O’Connell, a teamster from South Troy, was arrested last month for disorderly conduct for refusing to stop pailing beer by a Troy policeman of the same name , Joseph O’Connell. Its unclear what the charge was ,since the teamster O’Connell was delivering beer to Mrs. Connery, a neighbor. Carrying the beer in a pail doesn’t seem to be the offense but he may have been stealing the beer. The teamster tells Magistrate Abbott Jones that Officer O’Connell has been persecuting him ever since he went on the police force. The decision is delayed until Mrs. Connery can testify. " **************One site keeps you connected to all your email: AOL Mail, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail. Try it now.
