The wife got a job as a maid in the home of Grenville M. Ingalsbe, a former judge. The husband got a job but lost it after 2 weeks and has been heavily drinking since then. Jackson shows up yesterday at the judges house twice and is refused entry. He comes back at 7am and upon gaining entry into the house drags his wife into the yard and slashes her throat with a razor. She runs the 2 blocks to Dr Parks office but dies soon after arriving there. Jackson ran off through side streets towards Smith’s Basin, with a posse after him. He doubles back to Sandy Hill under a Glenn Street piazza, where some boys alert a deputy sheriff. He surrenders without a fight and is taken to county jail. **************Make your life easier with all your friends, email, and favorite sites in one place. Try it now.
