Manager Jack O’ Brien was putting the finishing touches on the 15th Street Grounds .While ‘ the new park presented a fine appearance, the field has been turned into a skin diamond, the going was heavy, the earth plowed up, A heavy wind swept clouds of dust across the field and played havoc with the players. They are playing the Johnstown-Gloversville Twins with manager J.Louis Bacon, who ran the Troy team from 1901- 1905.and starting pitcher Joe Essenter, a Troy native.. The Trojans lose 10-7 in front of 1312 spectators. Rev C.Waldo Cherry delivers the sermon to the graduating class at RPI.
