I was paging through a filmed copy of the Troy Observer-Budget the other day, looking for an obit in 1940 when I happened to notice a column called "Introducing Trojans". It gave a fairly detailed bio of a different person each week (it was a weekly newspaper). Many of the people featured seemed to be Irish, though not all. Also, most appeared to be fairly prominent. Here are some examples: * Joseph P. Delaney on March 10 * Patrick J. Ryan on March 17 * Thomas J. O'Connor on March 31 * Edward J. Quinn Jr. on April 28 * Patrick S. Flannery on May 5 * T. M. Guerin Jr. on May 19 * Harold M. Follett on May 26 * Capt. John M. Keeley on June 2 The film is at Troy Public Library, for anyone who is local and wants to check it out. I don't know if it's been filmed by LDS. Rebecca
