They are Rens Co Gop Cornelius Collins, superintendent of state prisons and James S. Parker od Salem as the other.They are instructed to vote for Charles Evans Hughes, the current governor. In Albany, William Barnes Jr, the Albany County party boss,who says he wont vote for Hughes. Interesting side note: Cornelius Collins, Supt of NY State prisons was indicted a few years later, ca 1912, for taking bribes from my great grandfather's brother, who owned the CP Boland Construction Co. so that Boland could get the contract to build the Great Meadow state prison at Comstock. Mysteriously (wink wink), the evidence disappeared from the state evidence room and they were acquited. A very stupid bookkeeper had hidden the money going to Collins in the payrolls as going to day laborers with names like Whitney, Vanderbuilt, and Corning.
