Sounds like you ladies did alot of work and hopefully some of the rest of us can help in the Spring. I have already saved a ton of coffee containers and will gladly accept more at the next few meetings. BUT please not at this months meeting as we have some much going on with our Speaker and hopefully a hugh turnout. I am putting together a TIGS tote bag with items of Irish interest, including a copy of Mr. McEnenys book, "ALBANY/Capital City On The Hudson", An Illustrated History. Published in 2006 it has a painting by L.F. Tantillo, local artist, on the cover. We will raffle off the tote containing the book, a bottle of Jamesons Irish Whiskey (donated by Kay Brearton), a TIG's T-Shirt and several other items at the October meeting. Tickets will be $1.00 each or 3 for $2.00 and you must be present to win. However if you have a family member or friend that cannot be present and you want to collect money from them in advance for a chance, buy their ticket and be available to collect the prize for them, please do so. I am sure Mr. McEneny will be happy to autograph the book for the winner. We hope to raise some money with the raffle for future TIGS projects.
