I would love to see the book "Trains of Troy, NY". My mother's brothers were railroad men. I used to sit in the kitchen window of my Grand father's third floor home and watch the switching of box cars. In North Troy we used to go behind the Knickerbocker Junior High School to go across the tracks and hike up to the Oakwood Cemetary. At that time the trains were steam driven and North bound trains would put out a huge amount of smoke which we were told would kill if inhaled. Sometimes we put a penny on the track to let the engine squash it but I don't recall ever finding it after the train passed. Al Cuerdon 1406 Fairway Dr Dunedin FL 34698
