These are nominations, not elected people as of yet. The voting will take place in May, however, since we have only one nomination for each office the outcome is predicted. We would love to see more local people participate at meetings and events. There is one meeting a month with dinner. Not so difficult to schedule as it is set for the 3rd Thursday of the month with little exception. Everyone on the list is wonderful with transcribing records BUT we really need some local people who are free during the day to offer up a day or two to do some scanning or we can't get the pages out for transcription. Most of the officers who attend all of the meetings are still employed full time, so that leaves the "day" work to just several retired members. Please e-mail Bill McGrath if you can volunteer a few hours for scanning, we are all anxious to get going on the next volume of marriage records. Kris **************Need a new ride?
