The story will inspire a book,’An American Tragedy” and a movie ‘A Place in the Sun”. Locally beef wholesalers raise the price of beef across the board by 2.5 cents. At the new rates porterhouse steak will sell for 23 cents a pound sirloin for 20 cents,round 18c,shoulder 16c.
