A reminder that there will be a meeting this month BUT it will be on the second Thursday, the 10th instead of the usual third Thursday. The meeting will be at 6:30 at the Redfront in Troy. Meeting is necessary as annual nominations are in process and election of officers pending. As Donna already posted we are looking for nominations for officers for the upcoming year. We have none for VP or List Administrator and only one for each of the other offices. We are asking that local folks consider more active participation in the upcoming year and one of the ways to do that is to hold an office. You can nominate yourself or be nominated by another paid member. While on the subject, Lizette reports that we have 202 list members now, that is fantastic. Of that about 50% are paid members. For $10 a year you get our very informative newsletter and become a voting member of the organization. In the last year we used the membership money to buy a laptop and a set of the St. Mary's records to donate to the Troy Libary. We are still looking to purchase a scanner, so every paid member is a step towards that goal. Please consider this small fee and become a paid member this year.
