At a point in history where automobiles are still considered a novelty, Oakwood residents consider the service cuts a serious inconvenience that could handicap a growing neighborhood.Cabinetmaker W.D.Bunny, carpenter John H. Lee and building manager Andrew Louden meet with the Traction Company and Mayor Mann and corporation counsel George B. Wellington. Residents of the district say they are unable to go home to dinner, if they are employed in the center of the city, on account of the time necessitated in waiting for the cars. Edgar Fasset, the United Traction general manager says they are losing money running cars every 15 minutes. The only course left seemed to be action which would compel the corporation to live up to the law.United Traction is the least popular business in Troy.Even when strikes inconvenience them Troy commuters root against the streetcar company. **************It's Tax Time!
