It's that time of year again! Local TIGS will be having nominations of officers at our next meeting on April 10, with elections in May, and new officers taking their roles in June. It has been my honor to have been elected as the very first President of TIGS, and to have served as your President for each of the past three years. Kristin Ayotte, our Vice President, has expressed an interest in running for President this upcoming year, and I will be nominating her at the April meeting. All offices are open for nomination. According to our charter: "All officers must be dues paying members of TIGS and be able to attend meetings in Troy." In regard to voting, full members (dues paying members) are eligible to vote in the elections. There are some local members, other than the current officers, who have been quite active and regular attendees, and I urge them (or anyone else!) to run for any of these offices.
