I'm researching DEVLIN in Cohoes (near Troy). Roseann McCloskey b. around 1823, m. Bernard/John DEVLIN. They were from Ireland and had 7 children. He died by 1862. In 1868, Roseann DEVLIN and her 7 children left from Glasgow on the ship "Iowa" and came to the Port of New York. The children: Mary age 19, Ann or Hannah 17, Catherine 14, Pat(rick) 11, Bernard (Barney) 7, John 5 and Ellen 3. They came upstate and lived at 33 Garner Street in Cohoes, NY.
