At last night's meeting at HVCC, we saw some slides showing the proposed footprint for the HVCC dorms to be built at the site of the former Immaculate Conception monastery (and Nail Factory Cemetery). Demolition of the monastery and construction of the dorms is tentatively scheduled to begin in early 2015. LDS also makes microfilms available thru interlibrary loan to local libraries. Again, orders are made via internet, and cost is the same. I scanned the book at the library several years ago and used the scanned pages to build the Nail Factory Cemetery data base which is on the Troy Irish Genealogy website under the PROJECTS section. I was also able to add some names from the Rensselaer County Rootsweb site which has transcribed some of the old Troy Burial records. There were a few that mentioned burial in the Nail Factory Cemetery. If I remember correctly there is a map in the book which I did not scan.
