My grandmother Mary Catherine Joyce was born in Ennis, County Clare in 1885 to Richard and Maria McMahon Joyce. She came to the USA in 1914 where she married Michael Patrick Carroll. She died in 1978 in New York. They lived in KY for a while after marriage then moved back to NY. Last lived in Kings Co. She had 9 brothers. I know that at least 6 of them came to USA at different times. Still looking for other 3 in Ellis Island Records. Her parents came in 1919. Thanks Nancy from South Carolina nancyowens2@home.com
