Scenery Painter of 21 Wants Marriage With Woman 65 Annulled. Article Text: New York, Oct. 17.--That he was out of his mind when he contracted the alliance is the reason given by John DURKIN, a scenery painter, 21 years old, for asking for an annulment of his marriage to Ann DURKIN, who owns up to 65 years. The case will come up in the Supreme Court tomorrow. Mrs. DURKIN, who has sons and daughters older than her husband, conducted a boarding house in Ocean Hill. DURKIN was one of her boarders. According to his story, he went home one night last July suffering from the effects of sunstroke. Then it was, he alleges, that he was trapped and taken to a minister's house by his landlady. When they left he was married. He declares that the only part he took in the ceremony was to nod his head when the minister asked some questions. He does not remember anything that was said.
