    3. Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, 25 March 1911 Rev. Dennis W. O'Hern, a member of the faculty of St. Bernard's Seminary and a brother of Rev. J. Francis O'Hern, of the Cathedral, died at the rectory, No. 90 Frank street, yesterday, following an illness of one week, probably from intestinal trouble. Father O'Hern had done much missionary work among the non-Catholic American [unreadable] Washington, D. C., Texas and Arkansas. He had recently been looking after St. Louis Church in Fairport, in the absence of Rev. J. L. Codyre, the pastor. While more of a teacher than a parish priest. Father O'Hern was considered a good speaker and has been heard frequently in the Cathedral. He was born in Olean on May 12, 1855, and educated in St. Bonaventure's in Alleghany, Pa., where he obtained the degree of M. A.
