    2. Batavia, Genesee County, NY Batavia paper - probably the Daily September 18, 1909 ITHAMAR T. NICHOLS Death of a Native of Batavia After an Illness of Three Months. Ithamar T. NICHOLS died at 10 o'clock last night at his home at No. 621 Ellicott street after three months' illness with heart trouble, which caused his death. Mr. NICHOLS was born in Batavia on April 23, 1831, and had spent all of his life here with the exception of two or three years in Michigan. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willard NICHOLS of Batavia and was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by his wife; one son, Adelbert NICHOLS of Batavia; two daughters, Mrs. J.W. GREEN of Buffalo and Mrs. A.B. HISCUTT of Batavia; a brother, Charles NICHOLS of Batavia, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah J. POND of Grand Rapids, Mich. He also leaves five grandchildren. Mr. NICHOLS was esteemed by a large circle of acquaintances. The funeral will be held from the house tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Paul HAYNE officiating.
