Herkimer Evening Telegram, 13 April 1913 Herkimer, April 12. - Mrs. Patrick O'Donnell passed away this afternoon at 2:45 o'clock following a lingering illness of two years duration, she having been confined to her bed the past six weeks. She was a woman of worthy characteristics and of true neighborly qualities and her demise will be regretted by a large number of friends. A loyal wife and true mother her loss will be long and deeply felt in the home and her memory will linger long for all who knew her. She was born in County Cork, Ireland, 49 years ago, but had resided in this country from early youth. There are surviving besides her husband, two daughters, Mary and Laura, and three sons, John, William and Francis O'Donnell, all of Herkimer. There are also four sisters and four brothers, as follows: Mrs. Fred English, Herkimer: Mrs. Thomas Finnegan, Boston: Miss Mary Aherne, Brooklyn: Mrs. Daniel Sullivan, Ireland: Benjamin Aherne, Ireland: Peter of Brooklyn and Thomas and John Aherne of Mohawk.
