Dear Granny Kats, Wow! How terrific of you to be interested in finding your family's history, for your family and yourself! (If only I could get my own mother interested in a computer!!) I wish I would have asked my grandmother - while she was alive.......all of the things I am now searching for her mother. That is all I want to know about...everything I am researching...is about my grandmother's mom. (My father's mother...Dad has passed too.) I understand your frustration. I live in California, and the information I am looking for is in NY. I read an article in a magazine recently, that quoted Cindi, of the terrific web-site "Cindi's List". The article quoted Cindi as saying "The internet is like a library with the books thrown on the floor". What an exellent analogy! Perfect! I know the info is there, I just cannot seem to find it!
