CALLAHHAN-BURNS On Wednesday afternoon last, October 3d, at St. Ann's church in this village, occured the marriage of Mr. Patsie CALLAHHAN and Miss Kittie BURNS. At the appointed hour the church was crowded to its utmost capacity with invited guests and friends of the young couple, and, as the bridal party entered the church, to the music of that grand old wedding march, played by Mr. CALLAHHAN's sister, who presided at the organ, the happy pair were greeted with smiles and kind wishes from all present. They were preceded by Mr. Joseph CALLAHHAN, of East Palmyra as best man, and Miss Jennie BURNS, of this place, as bridesmaid. At the altar they were met by Rev. Father CASEY, who performed the marriage ceremony in that most impressive manner peculiar to the Catholic faith; and, at the conclusion of which, the many friends of the twain, now made one, pressed forward to tender congratulations. After the services at the church, a reception was held at the home of the bride, at which a large! number of invited friends and relatives were served with a bounteous repast, after which an hour or two was spent in pleasant conversation and viewing the numerous, handsome, useful and costly presents, tendered the fair couple by loving hands and warm hearts. Mr. and Mrs. CALLAHHAN took the evening train for Buffalo and the West to pass the brief honeymoon. "Patsie" is one of Palmyra's first-class young men, and has an enviable reputation among our business men; who, one and all join in wishing him a long and prosperous life with his charming bride.
