NORTON Death of Former Resident of Elba at a Hospital in Buffalo Mrs. Fannie PETRIE NORTON, wife of Elmer E. NORTON and a former resident of Elba, died yesterday in a Buffalo hospital, where she had been since last spring. She was the victim of a cancer. Mr. and Mrs. NORTON lived a short distance west of the village of Elba three years, up to last spring, when they went to Buffalo. Mrs. NORTON had also been a resident of Little Falls, Mt. Morris and Rochester. She had many friends who will mourn her death. She was about 35 years of age. The funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. NORTON'S mother, Mrs. A.K. PETRIE of No. 113 Florida street, Buffalo, at 8 o'clock tomorrow evening. The remains will then be taken to Mt. Morris, where services will be held at the Presbyterian church at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
