His memory will long be cherished, not only by his office associates but by his fellow craftsmen throughout the city. As a husband, son and brother, he was affectionate, dutiful, and kind. Invariably courteous and conciliator, he was universally esteemed. As a workman, few possess a greater degree of skill and tastes, every specimen of letter press printing executed (line unreadable) His last were hours of peace and joy.
