Batavia, Genesee County, NY Batavia Paper (unknown name) May 26, 1898 C.A. HIGGINS Committed to Willard Charles A. HIGGINS of Pavilion Center, who is confined in the jail, was examined as to his sanity by Drs. WHITCOMB and PARMELE yesterday afternoon. He was adjudged insane and ordered committed to the Willard State Hospital by Judge NORTH. HIGGINS is suffering from dementia brought on by overwork and worry and is practically helpless. He is very quiet and is not considered to be at all dangerous.
