Batavia, Genesee County, NY Batavia paper - probably the Daily October 9, 1906 Supervisor McVEAN'S Son Dead Hugh McVEAN, son of Supervisor Arch McVEAN of Le Roy, while picking apples yesterday fell twenty feet from a tree, a limb breaking, and struck on his head and shoulders. He could not use his legs at first and it was feared his spine was injured.
