L. COMFORT returned from New York last evening. He visited Mr. HAYWOOD at the New York hospital last Tuesday and found him in as comfortable a condition as could be expected. His faithful wife was constantly at his bedside, assisted by the operating surgeon, the hospital physician and nurses. Everything is being done that is possible to alleviate his suffering and make time pass pleasantly. BG
