New York Daily Tribune 25 August 1847 DIED: On Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1847, Edward T. second son of John and Harriet ANDERSON, of Clifton, Ohio, aged 5 years, 10 months and 20 days. The friends of his grandfather, John P. TRUESDELL and of his uncle Edward D. TRUESDELL, are invited to attend his funeral, this (Wednesday) afternoon, at 4 o'clock, from No. 336 Hudson st. At Brooklyn, August 21, 1847, in the 84th year of her age, Ann, widow of William LOWDEN, formerly of Burlington, New Jersey. [Burlington papers please copy] On Monday morning, 23d inst. Samuel P. FOSDICK, aged 25 years, son of the late Capt. Wm. FOSDICK of this City, and recently of the firm of Fosdick & Charlock, of Mobile, Ala. His funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon, 25th inst. at 5 1/2 o'clock from the residence of his family, 168 Twelfth-st. Funeral service will be performed at St. Bartholomew's Church, corner of Lafayette-Place and Great Jones-st. and thence his remains will be taken to Westchester for interment. His friends and those of his family, are respectfully invited to attend without farther invitation. At Tompkinsville, S.I. on Tuesday, August 24, Mr. Isaac VAN DUZER, aged 39 years, 29 days. His friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend his funeral on Thursday, 26th inst. at 1 o'clock, at St. Paul's Church of the above place, without farther invitation. At New-Orleans, of yellow fever, on the 13th of August, in the 26th year of his age, Wm. Bleeker PLUME, Chief Engineer U.S. Army, son of Col. John J. PLUME, of Newark, N.J. and brother of John V. PLUME, of New-Orleans.
