Not even a confimred gourmet wants to dine off a widow's only cow and Mrs Redler nwo fears that Disy fell into the hands of an unscrupulous butcher. The widow Redler reported the matter to the polie and spent her store of pin money advertising for the return of the cow which she described as reddish brown with sawed off horns and a kind face. But no word has come. I think somebody stopped by in a truck and lifted Daisy in said Mrs Redler. She was a contented cow and would never go away on her own. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NY-Old-News ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NewspaperAbstracts.com - Finding our ancestors in the news!
