Article Text: Rochester, N. Y., May 20.--Miss Helen D. FARRON, aged 40, collapsed today immediately after witnessing the wedding of her sister, Miss Margaret FARRON, to William PYNE, in St. Patrick's Cathedral. Miss FARRON had never been separated from her sister before and the affection of the two women for each other had often been commented upon. While Bishop Thomas F. HICKEY was celebrating the nuptial mass Miss FARRON sat in one of the front pews weeping bitterly. When the newly married couple left the cathedral Miss FARRON fell to the pavement. She was taken into the sacristy, where the last rites of the church were given and a physician summoned. The wedding party was also called back. Just as the bride returned to the church and before medical aid could be secured, Miss FARRON died. Coroner Thomas A. KILLIP granted a certificate of death from heart disease. Miss FARRON had been in good health up to the time of the ceremony. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NY-Old-News ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NewspaperAbstracts.com - Finding our ancestors in the news!
