Serious accident on the Long Island railroad. yesterday morning about 2:00 officers Albertis, of the Firs, and Queen of the Third District found a man, Michael Gerren age 40 years with both legs nearly severed. Michael had been in this country a short time and got lost on sunday nite and wandered into the tunnel. Michael formerly lived at Six Mile Bridge in Ireland and has in this city a wife and three children living in the house with Owen Mcgowen, Corner of Smith and Dean Streets. Michael died on September 22, 1851 at 1:00 in the hospital **************************************** Mr. James Bradley age 6 years on Saturday afternoon was run over by a dirt cart while playing in front of his father's house. He cannot recover. *************************** Died suddenly yesterday morning, John H. Potts in the 45th year of his age.
