The ceremony was performed by the Rev.P.S.Merrill, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church before an embankment of palms and ferns, intermingled with white peonies over which was an archway of green vines, suspended from the center of which was a large wedding bell, fastened with white ribbons. Preceeding the ceremony, Mrs.Frank Myers, rendered "a delightful programme of music, and as the bridal party entered the parlor she rendered Mendelssohns' wedding march. During the ceremony, " Oh Promise Me," was softly played. The bride was becomingly gowned in a lovely creation of batiste with lace and embroidery. She carried a bouquet of bride roses and in her coiffure she wore a bridal rose bud. Miss Charlotte Johnson, the maid of honor, was attired in a pretty toilet of pink flowered batiste. Her boquet was of pink carnations. Mr.Charles Ball acted as best man. The ushers were Mr.Carl Hamm and Mr.Glen Chase. The house was profusely decorated with peonies, syringas and daisies. Following the ceremony a reception was given for sixty invited guests. In the dining room two long tables were arranged. The bride's table, at which ten were seated, was daintly adorned in pink and green. The wedding cake, iced in pink, formed the centerpiece. Suspended from the ceiling above the center of the table was a large white bell and reaching from this to each corner of the table were broad satin ribbons, trimmed with maiden hair fern and pink rose buds. each place was marked with a rose bud. Mr.and Mrs.Irons left on a wedding trip to Toronto, after which they will reside in South Transit street.The bride's traveling suit was of Wisteria serge, with white picture hat.
