Good day from Sarajevo !! Can anybody help me to locate information about my cousin Ian Philpot's born 1953 in S Wales U K. I believe Ian served in the U S A military in Vietnam, He would have been either drafted or he may have volunteered , He was living in New York Jackson Long Island, ever since the family emigrated from the UK in 1961/2. He had his parents and a sister Marie Philpot's born 1945 circa, I believe Ian was wounded in the head in Vietnam, he returned to his family in N/Y and worked in the city until his untimely death in 1992 circa in the US. Both his parents are dead I believe and his sister returned to the UK in the late eighty's and died in the UK. He leaves only Aunts and cousins. I am one of those cousins, If someone gets in touch I have the address he and his family were living in N/Y . This address I visited him at in 1963 and1964 while he was a young lad. I was working for the Cunard Shipping Co at that time based in NY. I believe it was the address he had when he joined up. I do not have any idea of what force he was in ARMY maybe as that was a rumour. Thanks for the opportunity to find him! Malc!
