Hello all: I recently asked a question about the locations of WW I Manhattan draft boards. I located the site below which has listings of draft board locations for all five boroughs. I hope it will be useful for some of you. It will be for me. Now I just have to try to determine which address would have been the most likely for my grandfather to have used in order to send out for his draft registration card. If anyone has had experience sending out for WW I draft registration cards (I have the request form for the NARA branch in Georgia) how much leeway do they extend about information expected? I can, at this point, determine that there were two draft board locations of nearly equal proximity to his address at the time. he could just as easily have gone to either one, or another for that matter.
