Gilbert Eddy b.1761 was in the American Rev. War and I think the war of 1812 from NY. The other is Jacob P.( maybe Peter) Deforest also from NY. I know Jacob was in the war of 1812 not sure of about the ARW tho. It is said Gilbert Eddy died in NY and Jacob Eddy died in Iowa after being sent to MO to be an Inspector of the post in St.Louis.
