Did you send for his pension records from the NARA? You can order forms from their website just go to www.NARA.com and surf around it and you will find them. At present the charge is $10.00 but rumor has it that there will be a price increase in June. Also on Rootsweb there is a CD volunteer look-up. Put it in the search terms and perhaps you may find a cd with something on the war of 1812 and/or pensioners. It's a great site. Good luck, Lydia Granda
