    2. Hi Mary, and Listmembers, Yes, I do have access to the Torrey's Marriage book until next Tuesday, April 13. It belongs to the genealogical society that I belong to. Unfortunately,Mary, I do not see your Allison/Ellison people listed. I am willing to do other lookups as needed. I did not notice other Suffolk people in the book, though there are some in CT, and other New England areas, including some Edwards which I can not place at the moment. My Allison, Allason, Alabon, Ellison (and other variant spellings) ancestors were in Southold on Long Island in the late 1600s. I'm curious about whether there are any marriages included in the book for the Allison (and variants) surname. Thanks much. Mary Allison Yonan yonan@fgi.net

    2. Richard Smith
    3. This is a long shot BUT do you find a Thomas Sayre [1597-1669] listed in your book. I do not have a name for his wife. His parents were Francis Sayre & Elizabeth Atkins who were married 1591. Thanks so much for the offer, Pat Smith in PA researching - Richard "Bull" Smith lineage; Ananias Conklin; Capt Leon Gardiner; etc. ----- Original Message ----- From: <JArmscoop@aol.com> To: <NY-LONGISLAND-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 04, 2004 8:11 PM Subject: Re: [NY-LONGISLAND] "Second Supplement To Torrey's N.E.
