The author is: Frederick Gregory Mather. You can probably find it in the inter-library loan if nothing else. :-) Glad you found the "Torrey's." I am using the second supplement. I also believe that I have seen some reference to the information by Mather on the longislandgenealogy.com site. There are indexes in both books.
