Edward Raynor was the orphaned nephew of Thurston Raynor who accompanied Thurston and his family on the ship Elizabeth from Ipswich, England to America in 1634. Edward traveled with Thurston and family from Watertown, MA, to Wethersfield and Stamford, CT, and to Hempstead, L.I., NY in 1644. Edward settled in Hempstead, while Thurston and family left there and settled in Southampton. The Edward Raynor genealogy is unpublished. Let me know if you have any questions.
