    1. [NY-LONGISLAND] Edwards and Fosters
    2. Hi Gang, What I have found out, is that most of the genealogies from Long Island, was information that I have been finding on the Brooklyn Eagle site. Not any proof like birth/death/marriage or even church records, so I have learned to take these with a grain of salt. Marriage and Death notices are a great resource, but the Brooklyn paper started in 1840 sometime. My Mother's family started here on Long Island in the late 1630's, and I have been going by town records. Wish I could get to the 1800's with my Father's! <g> He is my BIG brick wall in Albany. Anyway, I will list a few families here, and you keep them for future use, and if you do make the connection, I can send along more.
