    2. Well, it is a new day and now when I just hit reply to Barb's post, it went directly to her and not to the list. So, I had to add the list so this would post. Well, I guess that is better but I have set the list so all replies go to the list. I guess no one remembers the adage, > "If it ain't broken don't fix it." > Just another hassle, especially for non daily posters. > > What is happening is that Rootsweb is trying to stop all the junk mail (spam) going to the various lists. You don't see most of it, but we list admins find it every morning and we have to review it and either send it to the list or mark is as spam so the email address is then in the Rootsweb computer and the computer will stop all future emails from post to the lists with that address. Trouble is the spammers are always finding work arounds and trying to trick the filters. Bottom line, we need to adjust to the Rootsweb filters/changes and then figure our work arounds. If you hit, 'reply' notice where your reply is going, if it just has a Rootsweb address, and you also want it to go to the poster , then add the posters email address. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA, list admin http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

    2. Pat, Can you not hit "reply all"? Looks as if this is going to the list as well as you and Barb.
