    3. I have a world Ancestry membership and have contacted, or been contacted by, others with occasional home-run results. It is easy. Click on the tree owner's name. See "Contact" and click on it An email box will pop up. Write your message. This is a private message. You will see only their Ancestry user name and they will see only yours. If you choose, you can exchange personal email addresses, phone numbers etc and take it from there. That assumes they answer you in the first place. The tree owner may not answer and I always try just once more after a month or so. This summer, I got an answer from a message I sent two years ago. Good luck. I would like to contact the person who put the tree on Ancestry to compare notes. Does anyone know how? I spent hours trying to find out how to write them but never did find a way.
