Yes this is a great way to get documents, and yes they don't always send a confirmation that your request has been received. I think my confirmations are 50/50. Right now I'm waiting on a request I submitted on 7/23/14. Sometimes fast, sometimes not. Lately they've been pretty quick and I've been very grateful for the service, it's a great help! I don't think you need to resend. Thanks for the info all - I submitted a different request this morning and already received an image back which is unbelievably fast. However, now I have a problem that the IGG website had the wrong certificate number and the one I requested was not my ancestor. Any advice as to how to find the correct certificate number?
