The Watauga Democrat published in Boone, NC September 25 1913 "Big Tim" Sullivan who rose from newsboy to Congressman, is dead, he was elected to Congress last fall but owing to declining health which had to some degree clouded his mind, he had never taken his seat. Once a child of the Bowery he died one of Tammany's leaders.
