It is not known if they married in Ireland or New York, but all of their 10 children were born in Lisbon. Their oldest son, William, born 1829, maried Sarah Baxter about 1843-45 and their three children were all born in Lisbon, New York: James, b 07 Nov 1845; Mary b 08 Dec 1855 and John b 10 Sep 1858. I know this looks like an early date for Jame to be born - William would have been only 16 years old - so Jame's birth date must be wrong - also, Mary was born in 1855 - 10 years later. I am certain of Mary's birth date. The William Fields family moved to St. Clair, McPherson, Blue Earth county, Minnesota sometime later where William farmed. Information needed: 1.
